Frage:
I am rebuilding a set of Marzocchi AG 3 from an Ancillotti 125, and have found your rebuild manual very helpful. What bothers me is the lack of suitable fluid at the dealers here, and I wonder if you have found a replacement other than ATF for it? If not, what type of ATF do you use, and is it good enough to use even in a off road situation? Also, where can I find spare parts? No one in Sweden has any to my knowledge... I hope you can answer this questions for me, it would mean a lot if I can use the original shocks at least until I can find funds for something more expensive and suitable.

Antwort:
Marzocchi recommends SAE5 grade fork oil.

You can use any supplier’s fork oil. If you don’t get SAE5, sometimes they name it “light”, you also can use SAE7.5 or SAE10.

A source for Marzocchi spares is http://www.marzocchi.co.uk/moto/850193-C.html in the UK. But you have to take care if it fit’s to your shocks.

Measure the damping rod. It should be 12mm. Otherwise you have to ask them for a supplier.
